A delicious, family-friendly, and halal-certified Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad that pairs tender grilled chicken with crisp romaine lettuce and comforting pasta in a creamy, homemade Caesar dressing.

2 large Halal Certified Chicken Breasts
1 lb Rotini or Penne Pasta
1 head Romaine Lettuce
0.5 cup Halal Parmesan Cheese
1 cup Halal Mayonnaise
3 tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
1 tsp Tamari (Halal Soy Sauce)
2 cloves Garlic
1 pinch Black Pepper and Salt
1 cup Halal Croutons

Instructions

  1. Cook your pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until it reaches an al dente texture. Drain the pasta and rinse it with cold water to stop the cooking process
  2. Season the halal chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Grill or pan-sear the chicken until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F. Let it rest, then slice it into strips
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the halal mayonnaise, fresh lemon juice, tamari, minced garlic, and black pepper to create the signature dressing
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta, chopped romaine lettuce, and sliced chicke
  5. Pour the dressing over the ingredients and toss everything gently until the dressing coats every piece evenly
  6. Sprinkle the shredded halal Parmesan cheese and croutons over the top of the pasta salad just before serving

Notes

Always let your pasta and chicken cool completely before mixing them with the lettuce to prevent wilting.

Dress the salad right before serving to keep the croutons crunchy.

Use fresh lemon juice rather than bottled for the brightest flavor.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days. Do not freeze.
