An easy, sweet, and savory Honey Garlic Chicken Thighs recipe made with 100% halal-certified ingredients in under thirty minutes. Perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale

6 pieces Halal certified chicken thighs (bone-in or boneless, skin-on)
0.33 cup Raw organic honey
4 cloves Fresh garlic (minced)
2 tablespoons Tamari (halal soy sauce)
0.25 cup Halal chicken broth
1 tablespoon Fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon Olive oil
1 pinch Salt and black pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Pat the Chicken Dry: Use paper towels to dry your halal chicken thighs completely. Season both sides of your chicken with salt and black pepper
  2. Sear the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place the chicken thighs skin-side down in the hot skillet. Sear the thighs for 5 to 6 minutes until the skin becomes golden and crispy. Flip and cook the other side for another 5 minutes
  3. Prepare the Sauce: While the chicken cooks, whisk together the raw honey, minced garlic, tamari (halal soy sauce), halal chicken broth, and fresh lemon juice in a small bowl
  4. Combine and Simmer: Pour the honey garlic mixture directly into the skillet with the chicken. Reduce the heat to medium. Let the sauce simmer and bubble
  5. Baste the Chicken: Spoon the simmering sauce generously over the Honey Garlic Chicken Thighs. Continue cooking for another 5 minutes until the sauce thickens into a sticky glaze and the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F
  6. Serve: Remove the skillet from the heat and garnish your beautiful Honey Garlic Chicken Thighs with chopped parsley or sesame seeds

Notes

Do not crowd the pan: Ensure your chicken thighs have enough space in the skillet to sear properly, which keeps your Honey Garlic Chicken Thighs beautifully crispy.

Use fresh garlic: Freshly minced garlic provides a much bolder flavor than jarred garlic, elevating your Honey Garlic Chicken Thighs to restaurant quality.

Watch the honey: Honey can burn easily. Therefore, keep an eye on the skillet temperature so the glaze for your Honey Garlic Chicken Thighs thickens without scorching.

Let it rest: Allow your cooked Honey Garlic Chicken Thighs to rest for five minutes before serving to keep the meat incredibly juicy.
